Thomas R. Amlie, Progressive representative from Wisconsin, will speak Monday afternoon at 4.30 o'clock in Phillips Brooks House on the movement to form a third party for the coming national election.
Amlie is National Chairman of the American Commonwealth Political Federation, a nascent third party, founded by Alfred Bingham and Paul Douglas in Chicago last summer.
The meeting, sponsored by the Teacher's Union, is open to the public, and Amlie's speech will be followed by discussion. He also speaks in Boston that evening at a mass meeting called to discuss the same question.
