Melville C. Whipple, assistant professor of Sanitary Chemistry and Sanitary Inspector to the University, declared yesterday that analysis of the milk delivered last Saturday revealed no traces of any attempt at adulteration. At the instigation of University authorities he made a careful checkup for possible causes of the taste which resulted in milk being sent back to the kitchens in both the Union and the Houses.
It is understood however that definite steps will be taken by health authorities to continue the investigation begun yesterday as a result of the many complaints of bad milk served in Cambridge restaurants.
