University Also Announces Faculty Re-appointments

Recipients of Sheldon Travelling Fellowships for study in Europe next year include, as announced Saturday, three members of the Faculty and six graduate students.

The teachers are Marcy S. Powell, of Wellington, Ohio, instructor in French; Edwin C. Rae '33, of New Canaan, Connecticut, assistant in Fine Arts; and Sheldon C. Reed, of Montpelier, Vermont, research assistant in Genetics.

Faculty re-appointments have also been made as follows for one year from September 1, 1936: Victor de Gerard, instructor in Russian; and Phillip A. Shelley, Charles F. Barnason, Albert F. Buffington, James M. Hawkes '26, Martin A. Henry, Ashbury H. Herrick, and Israel S. Stam '28, instructors in German.

Also, Adolph W. Samborski '25, instructor in Physical Education, and Clarence B. Van Wyck, secretary to the Department of Physical Education.

For the rest of the current year Thomas L. McMeeken, Robert C. Smith, Jr. '33, and Charles M.S. Niver '22, have been renamed as assistants in Chemistry and in Fine Arts.
