GREEN FORWARDS MAKE LACROSSE TEAM WEAK

Inexperienced Sophomores Take Over Attack Positions as Veterans Form Strong Defense

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Lacrosse fans won't have much to look forward to in the way of attack men on the Crimson team this spring according to Neil Stahley coach of the Varsity lacrosse squad. But a defence of experienced men ought to balance the weakness of the green forward line.

Of the six returning veterans only two played attack last year. The remaining forwards must be picked from completely inexperienced Sophomores Coach Stahley is building no great hopes on hidden talent, as it takes any man quite some time to get the knack of handling a lacrosse stick.

For this season the backbone of the team will consist of Nelson D. Warwick '36. captain and defense man: Leavitt Howard '36. goalie; Arthur F. Duffey, Jr. '36. attack: John D. Whittemore '36, point: George D. Baristone '37, attack: John J. Witherspoon '37. point.

Under the circumstances we feel that we cannot properly comply with your request. Respectfully yours.   Jerome D. Greene.   Secretary to the Corporation
