Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Ten men were retained in the semifinals of the Lee Wade and Boylston prize speaking contest held Saturday afternoon in Paine Hall. The public will be admitted to the finals which are also to take place in the Music Building on Wednesday, March 25, at 8 o'clock.
The contestants were required to deliver a memorized passage taking not more than seven nor less than five minutes selected from any famous work of prose of poetry.
Those retained of the original 53 entries are: Roy M. Cohen '36, Edward J. Duggan '37, Robert Dunn '37, Paul William, Jr. '37, John Lagsdin '37, William H. Ledgard '36, David P. MacAllister '38, Edward O. Miller '37, Edwin K. Packard '37, and John A. Sullivan, Jr. '38.
Judges for this contest were Gustavus H. Maynadier '89, assistant professor of English, Emeritus; Robert W. Coues '95, Instructor in English; and Robert F. Young, instructor in Public Speaking.
