STUDENTS OPPOSE PRIVATE MANUFACTURE OF MUNITIONS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Overwhelmingly favoring the prohibition of private sale and manufacture of war munitions, Harvard swung into line with national sentiment according to the result of Wednesday's CRIMSON Current Events Poll.

678 of the 945 voters polled "yes" in answer to the question "Should the manufacture and sale of war, munitions for private profits be prohibited?"

National interest has been greatly aroused during the past two years over this question, and the large number of affirmative votes is striking evidence of the effect caused by the recent Senate munitions investigation, which brought the whole matter to the attention of the public.
