BOXING DECISION IN HANDS OF N.C.A.A. RULES COMMITTEE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

William J. Bingham '16, Director of Athletics, announced yesterday that the argument over the Olney-Huffman boxing match in the Yale meet last Saturday was in the hands of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Rules Committee.

Until such time as his committee announces its decision Harvard can take no further action. No date has been set for the release of the Committee's interpretation of the rules, but it is expected within a week. When this controversy over the point system has been cleared up. Bingham will then be able to discuss the 4-4 tie with Malcolm Farmer, head of the Yale A.A. if the decision of the Rules Committee does not automatically settle the matter.
