BASKETBALL TRYOUTS FOR OLYMPICS AT INDOOR GYM

Outstanding college basketball teams of New England, the Providence College and Springfield College quintets will tangle at the Indoor Athletic Building tomorrow night at 8.30 o'clock in the First District Elimination game to decide which team will represent the United States in the coming Olympics. Preceding this will be a contest at 7.30 o'clock between Adams House, Crimson Intramural leaders, and the championship Yale College five.

Providence and Springfield have already met twice this year, both games productive of thrilling play and each team showing a seven point advantage on their home court. Playing at Providence in the first game, the Friars won 55-48, while in the game at Springfield the home team came back to win 50-43.
