UNION DEBATERS NAMED FOR INITIAL DEBATES

Men Named to First Teams Will Be Out of Further Action Until Debates With Yale, Princeton

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Two debating teams to meet Boston Latin School and Brown on February 28 were selected last night. The teams were selected from a field of fifteen candidates. Those chosen to represent Harvard against Boston Latin are: Morgan Preston, Robert Coquittette and Welch Peel. Laurence Ebb. Frank Davidson, and R. A. Solman will debate for Harvard against Brown on the same evening.

There will be new tryouts next Friday to select teams for the Exeter and the Boston College debates. Those men who once make a team will be ineligible for further competition until the Harvard-Yale-Princeton debate. This plan was adopted in order to give as many candidates as possible an opportunity to participate in intercollegiate debating.
