Tryouts for the Freshman debates with Boston Latin and Brown will take place in the upper common room of the Union from 5 to 5.30 o'clock, and from 7.15 to 7.45 o'clock tonight. Two teams will be chosen to represent Harvard on the affirmative side of the question: Resolved, That the federal government should own and operate all power utilities. All candidates should prepare a four minute speech on this subject.

Similar tryouts will be held next week for the Exeter and the Boston College debates. The question will be: "Resolved, That the Supreme Court should be divested of its power to declare acts of Congress unconstitutional."
