Winning four matches out of six, the Freshman squash team C defeated the Union Boat Club at Boston yesterday afternoon. All the matches were closely contested, and the result was in doubt until the very end.

In the bitterest clash of the day Warren Williams upset A. Winslow (U.B.C.) when he came from behind by brilliant rallying to win 8-15, 11-15, 18-16, 18-16, 15-12. Francis R. Appleton made sure of the Yardling's victory when he defeated W. Taber by the scores of 15-11, 11-15, 15-5, 15-3.

George B. Blake of the Crimson eked out a gruelling win over H. Pinkham in another stubbornly fought match. 10-15, 15-10, 15-11, 16-17, 15-8. In the last victory for the Freshmen, Peter F. Cunningham showed himself the master of the situation as he kept A. Erskine (U. B. C.) under control to coast to an easy win 15-11, 11-15, 12-15, 15-10, 15-10.
