Gaining victory as the result of a fall in the last bont of the afternoon, the Freshman wrestlers defeated Andover 12 1/2 to 10 1/2 yesterday. The fall, the only one of the match, was won by William H. Sleeper, when he pinned Day of Andover.
The contest was unusually close, both Andover and the Freshmen chalking up three victories spiece, while there was one draw. Charles E. Sleeper, capable Harvard heavyweight was forced to remain idle as Andover had no heavyweight entry. Harvey M. Ross won an outstanding victory in the 118-pound class, and Ralph B. Murphy added the other Harvard victory in the 155-pound class.
After the meet, Moncrieff M. Cockrane, 165-pound wrestler, was elected captain of the team.
