INSTRUMENTAL CLUBS CHOOSE 9 NEW MEMBERS

Two Concerts Already Scheduled for March and Two More Are Expected; Elections Next Tuesday

Resuming activity in preparation for the program of concerts to be given during the spring term, the Instrumental Clubs held trials for new members last Monday evening in the Music Building.

As a result of the trials, the following nine men were taken into the Clubs:

Engel P. Hevenor '37, Paul R. Went-worth '39, Robert P. Brown '39, George Barker '38, John L. Chase '39, Roger Kinnicutt, Jr. '39, Irving M. Shepard '39, Augustus H. Fiske, Jr. '39. and William H. Felmeth '39.

Two concerts have been announced so far. On Friday, March 6, the Clubs will make their initial appearance at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, and on Friday, March 20 will occur the annual concert at the Milton Club. Two more concerts are hoped for but not definitely arranged: one is in Quincy on Wednesday, March 18, and one in Cambridge, the next day.

The yearly election of officers will take place at a meeting for the newly elected members, to be held next Tuesday night.

Regular rehearsals for all sections of the Clubs will start Monday evening at 7 o'clock in the Music Building.
