Sextet Emerges from a First Period Slump to Gain Victory

In a hard fought game at the Boston Garden yesterday afternoon, the Freshman hockey team defeated a strong Arlington delegation by a score of 6-4.

The Arlington puckmen got off to a fast start, as Preston and Owen caged two goals in the first three minutes of play. During the first period the Harvard team failed to function effectively, and the end of the first fifteen minutes found the Crimson trailing 2-0.

Playing with greater aggressiveness in the second period, the Yearlings piled up four goals before Arlington retaliated with a goal by Mee. DeRahm and Harding added two more for Harvard in quick succession and Chipman made a final Arlington tally a few seconds before the game ended.
