Among the appointments to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences for the current half of the academic year which were made public yesterday are the following:

William M. McGovern, lecturer on Government, who will do the work originally assigned to Max Lerner, who was granted a leave of absence to become an editor of the Nation Magazine.

Don B. Creager, assistant in Botany.

Hugh M. McNeill, assistant in Economics.

Robert B. Stewart, assistant in Government.

David H. Dunkle, assistant in Paleontology.

John D. Watson, assistant in Civil Engineering.

Summerfield Baldwin, 3d, instructor in Government.

Richard L. Sharp, assistant in Anthropology.

Lynn I. Schoonover, assistant in Economics.

Richard F. F. Tyner, assistant in Government and Tutor.

William H. Chase, assistant in Government.

Francis D. Pontius, assistant in Government.
