PLAN DINING HALL FOR THOSE OUTSIDE OF YARD, HOUSES

Principally Intended for Residents of Claverly, Dudley, Little, Graduate And Law Schools

At a meeting of the Yard Questions Committee of the Harvard Student Union last night, Harold P. Winchester '39, chairman, outlined a plan for a cooperative dining hall for those members of the University who do not eat at the regular halls.

This dining hall would be run by and for the Students, and is designed particularly to meet the needs of the residents of Apley, Claverly, Dudley, and Little Halls.

Graduate and Law School students, and those members of the University who, due to the crowded conditions existing in all dormitories are rooming at boarding houses and private students, are also expected to favor the suggestion.

These men do not regularly eat at one place, but "shop around" at the various restaurants on the Square.

Before any further action is taken, the Committee will distribute questionnaires among the men who are concerned, asking their opinion of the plan.
