In the first league game of the season, the Varsity class "C" team defeated the Newton Y.M.C.A. "Whites" 3-2 yesterday afternoon.

Those winning their matches were: Hendrik DeKruif '38 over E. J. Sawyer; Lawrence Ross '37 over A. S. Richards; Marshall Field, Jr. '38 over W. F. Baker.
