FOOTBALL TEAM MEETS TODAY TO PICK GAFFNEY'S SUCCESSOR

Dick Harlow's Varsity football squad meets for the last time this year at 1.30 o'clock this afternoon in Dillon Field House, when they gather to elect the captain of the 1937 eleven, and incidentally have the team picture taken or the Class Album.

Junior lettermen are eligible for the post, and there are eight of these. From the backfield come Art Oakes, freshman captain, George Roberts, who called signals during most of the season, Bob Stuart and Verne Struck, both Yale game starters.

Four lineman are eligible, Russ Allen, Freshman class president, Nee and Kevorkian, Yale game starters, and Gibby Winter, end.

Today is the first time in many years that the election has not taken place in Notman's studio, and the coaching staff while not superstitious, is hoping that the change may be for the better.
