Duplicating each other's scores for the second successive Saturday Varsity and Freshman soccer teams earned 1-1 draws with the Worcester Swedish-Americans and Worcester Academy.
Playing without pressure in their informal game the Varsity bootera as a team contributed their most accurate passing and scientific teamwork of the season. Individual performances were also above average.
This was particularly true among the forward trio of Dick Lewis, Bob Holcombe, and Newlin Hastings on the right side of the line. Long crosses by Hastings repeatedly embarrassed the Swedish fullbacks.
Larson of the visitors tallied first in the opening period when his low shot failed to take a "big hop" and skidded past goalie Williams. Holcombe evened the score in the following quarter when he kicked a goal on the end of a combination play.
The lineups: Harvard--g., Williams, Gray; r.f., Bradley; l.f., Robie; r.h., Burbank, Rickard; c.h., R. Scott; l.h., Phillips, Haskell; r.o., Hastings; r.i., Holcombe; c., Lewis; l.i., Johansen, Johnson; l.o., Wood (Capt.).

Freshman Tie
On the Worcester Academy field the Freshman booters lost a victory when Johnson of the home team tied the score with a fourth period goal. For the Crimson left inside White had tallied in the second quarter.
The Freshman lineup: g., Merrill (Capt.); r.f., Deakin; l.f., Doughty; r.h., Rousmaniere; c.h., Scully; l.h., Fernald; r.o., Halstead, Gilder; r.i., Johnson, Howe; c., Page; l.i., Ogle, White; l.o., Mendel.
