75 Turn Out for First Voice Tryouts of Dramatic Club

Authorities Are Still in Search of Voice Like a Whale

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

First tryouts of the Dramatic Club this year resulted in a turnout of about 75 men for the 14 parts to be filled in the play, "Jonah and the Whale," which will be produced on December 10, 11, and 12.

A very important part which seems hard to fill appropriately is that of the whale. The applicant must not necessarily look like a whale, because its voice comes from off-stage. But if anyone thinks he sounds like a whale, he will be welcome.

The 12 feminine parts will be taken by girls from Radcliffe, Erskine, and the Junior League.

The Director of the performance has not yet been definitely chosen.
