Resuming the series of regular monthly meetings, the Circolo Italiano announces the first meetings will be held Wednesday evening, December 2. Mr. Pettucini of Boston University, former fellowship holder at the University of Rome, will speak on the aspects of student life in Rome.
Membership in the Circolo is open to all members of the University who have an interest in the Italian language or in the customs of Italy. Neither fluency of speech nor formal study is a requisite for membership.
The meetings offer opportunity for conversation in Italian as well as the speakers. Last year the Circolo heard Professor Corrado Gini, recipient of a Tercentenary Honorary Degree.
Several short plays and farces in Italian will be presented during the course of the year by the members of the Circolo.
