Offices of Secretary and Treasurer Filled By Brown and Sterling

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harry L. Walen '37 was announced president of the Harvard Poetry Club for this year at a meeting of the club last night. H. M. Brown, Jr. '40, and O. Mathiot Sterling, Jr. '38, secretary and treasurer, respectively, are to be his assistants.

Possibilities of a club publication were discussed together with plans for a meeting with the Wellesley Poetry Club to be hid in the near future.

The club, which was founded for the appreciation and writing of poetry, was organized in its present state in 1933. It now has a membership of 11. The only requirement for a candidate to the club is that he be able to write at least fair poetry.

The next meeting of the club is to be held in Straus Hall, December 16.
