Navy's Jayvee football squad upset the Crimson's undefeated eleven Saturday 18-0 in a game played at Soldiers Field just before the Varsity game.
The Navy, although scoreless the first half outgained Harvard the entire game, and pushed over their first score in the third period when Watson, the Annapolis left half, closed a long drive down the field with an 18-yard dash around end.
Poor blocking, and lack of coordinated offensive play caused the Jayvee's downfall. Captain Knapp, and Bill Giles, riht tackle, stood out in the line for the Crimson seconds, and Jerome was doing some good work in the back-field.
The starting Harvard lineup was: Ends, Smith and Knapp; tackles, Schmidt and Barkin; guards, Zinman and Mellen; center, Hedblom; quarter, Burnett; halfs, Prouty and Foley; full, Jerome.
