RUSSELL, JAMESON MAY START AGAINST TIGERS SATURDAY

Forty-Five Minute Scrimmage Closes Contact Work for Princeton Clash; Tapering Off Today

Bob Jones, veteran Varsity center, will be unable to report to the squad until Friday because of a severe cold. He has been out all week, and will have to be used sparingly, if at all, against Princeton.

Tim Russell, a Sophomore center who has developed fast this year, will probably receive first call on Saturday. His defensive work has been excellent, and he should turn in a good account of himself backing up the line.

Jameson at Right End

Win Jameson was against at right end on the A team. It looks as though he may be among the chosen eleven on Saturday. He has been playing regularly in the Friday Jayvee games to gain experience and Dick Harlow now considers that he is ready to take the battering of a Varsity clash. If he starts, four second year men will face the Tiger at the opening whistle: Green and Jameson at ends, Russell at center, and Wilson at quarter back.

Don Daughters has been shifted back to end from the backfield, where his possibilities as a ball carrying back were being examined. Although he may be converted into a carrier next season, end coach Fesler felt that his squad could ill afford to loose any of its strength at this stage.

The A team clicked off long gains against the Jayvees during scrimmage.
