Cadet Halfback Is Stricken With Pneumonia After Game

Father of Woodrow Wilson Flies from Texas to Son's Bedside

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Stricken with pneumonia following the Army game last Saturday, Woodrow Wilson, cadet halfback, lay in a serious condition last night in the Massachusetts General Hospital. His father, Lee Wilson, of El Paso, Texas, was en route across the country in a special plane.

A starting back in the Saturday game, Wilson is considered one of the Academy's most promising players, despite the fact that he is only a second year man.

After the game, which was played on a wet field, he complained of a chill, but did not consider it serious. On Sunday his condition became alarming, and he was moved to the hospital.
