Gaining more than 300% in its second day, the "one sole woman" petition circulating through the houses had 878 signatures at a late hour last night and gave promise of being one of the largest ever started.
Although no official recognition can be made of this undergraduate determination to do away with the latest parietal rule until President Conant's return from Europe in November, it is a surety that some notice will be taken and that action may result which will be made favorable for house members.
