GENE TUNNEY TO SPEAK AT VARSITY CLUB FETE

Floyd Announce Impressive Lineup for Tiger-Game-Eve Dinner to Be Held on October 30

With Gene Tnnuey heading the list of speakers, the Varsity Club will celebrate its annual dinner the night before the Princeton game, Friday, October 30, at 7 o'clock in the Club House.

Richard C. Floyd '11, president of the Club, has announced the more elaborate program yet arranged for one of these dinners. Other speakers beside the former world's heavyweight champion will be William J. Bingham 16. Director of Athletics, Thomas D. Belies, new crew coach, Richard C. Harlow, head coach of football, and James J. Gaffney, Jr. '37, captain of the football team.

An important item on the program will be the awarding of trophies on during the year by Crimson athletes.

Among these working on the committee with Floyd are Edward H. Bennett '37, Charles C. Buell '22, Edward L. Casey '17. Samuel M. Felton 3d '13. George S. Ferd, Jr. '27, George P. Gardner, Jr. '10, Huntington R. Hardwick '16, Delmar Leighton '18, George Oven, Jr. '23, Frederick R. Mosely Jr. '20, Leverett Soltonatall'14, and William H. Schmidt, 2d '27.
