Entry of 144 students at the Graduate School of Education was announced last night at the close of the third day of registration.
This represents an increase of about twenty per cent over student registrations at this time last year, and at the close of registration Tuesday, the school will have a substantially larger student body than this year's total of 206, according to Dean Henry W. Holmes.
Of the students, 45 are registered for the new degree of Master of Arts in Teaching, offered this year for the first time and administered jointly by the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
