President Lowell Presented a trophy to A. Carl Halmboiz, II '36 at the Winthrop House dinner last night as the Senior who "showed the greatest intellectual promise" among those in the House.
The award was given by the faculty and tutorial staff of the House, and is the first of its kind ever to be presented.
Hemiholz was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa last November as one of the Senior sixteen who were inducted at the December dinner. He comes from Rochester, Minnesota.
At the same dinner three Detur Books were presented to members of the House. The winners were Daniel W. Meyer '36, Robert C. Jones '38, and Philip T. Shahan '38.
