ALL-CHAMPION MERMEN DIVE INTO POOL HERE

Stark defeat or startling upset face the Varsity swimming team when it meets Providence Boys Club in the pool here tomorrow afternoon.

Paced by Harold Stanhope and Matthew Chrostowake, New England champion free-stylers, the Rhode Islander holders of 21 A. A. U. blue ribbons and five world records expect to swim the Crimson under from the opening gun.

To add to the attractiveness of the meet Joh Higgins, national 200-yard breast stroke champion, has announced his intention to try for a new world record.

Strongest hope of what is conceded to be one of Harvard's strongest teams is Charles G. Hutter, Jr. '38, national ranking 220-yard free style artist. Keen local opposition will also be afforded by Henry K. Fitts '36 and Bernard F. Merriam, 2nd '36 in the dive, and by Graham Cummin '38 and Richard T. Fisher '36 in the back stroke.

The meet is scheduled for 4.30 o'clock. At 3 o'clock the Freshmen meet the Boston Boys Club.
