HARVARD RINGMEN BEAT CRACK VIRGINIA TEAM

By upsetting the University of Virginia boxing team 4 1/2 to 3 1/2 Saturday evening, Harvard's ringmen out short the string of undefeated seasons which the Cavaliers have carried through five years.

Virginia men have held the Southern Conference Championship every year since 1931, and have won the reputation of being the won the reputation of being the best team in the country. They won each of the two previous matches with Harvard 6 to 2.

The score was tied after the sixth of the sight matches. Of the four knockouts that far, only the one by Walter Crampton had been credited to Harvard.
