Facing its first Quadrangular League game of the season, the Varsity Hockey team will encounter the Princeton sextet at Princeton tomorrow night. The Crimson outfit will be strengthened by the return of two veterans to the lineup, Thorny Brown at defense and Mike Hovenanian at right wing.
Lineup Partially Altered
Al Dewey will join Hovenanian in flanking Captain Moseley on the first line. the latter's solo work was one of the few bright spots in the 3-0 McGill defeat. On defense, Dick Claflin will team with the recovered Brown. Waldinger is expected to start in the cage, since he has been regularly alternating with Emerson.
Coach Joe Stubbs announced that he would not decide upon the make-up of the second and third lines and the alternating defensomen until after today's practice session at the Arena. Fifteen men will make the trip to Princeton.
Average Princeton Team
Coach Dick Vaughan's first Tiger outfit is generally considered to be an average aggregation. The outstanding scorer has been Frederick Lawson of Dorchestor, first line wingman.
The newly formed second-line combination of Bissell, Covey, and Cook is likely to prove as troublesome to the Crimson forces as the veteran starters. Playing its first game away, the Freshmen Rockey team will meet the Relmont Bill School packmen at Helmont's outdoor rink tomorrow afternoon. The Yardlings are strong favorites to ring up their third straight victory. The only lineup change involves George Aldrich, who created a sensation by using his fists on a combative Newion High opponent. Aldrich displaces Carlie Houghion of left defense.
