Assembling for the first time as a single group, the new members of Eliot House will meet at 7.30 o'clock Monday evening in the Junior Common Room at a reception at which Roger B. Merriman '96, Master of Eliot House, and David W. Brown '36, chairman of the Committee, will speak briefly.
At the first meeting of the House committee yesterday, the date for the fall dinner dance was set at Saturday, November 23, after the Yale game. Arrangements are in the hands of Morris Dec. Crawford, Jr. '37 and Neil G. Melone '37. The Committee also voted to continue the customary plan of collecting the House fund.
Election of two Sophomores to the Committee will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, October 16 and 17. Nominations will be made by petitions bearing signatures of ten Sophomores in Eliot, between Monday and Friday, October 11.
