8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
Fencing finds a new home at Harvard and in Cambridge when on Tuesday, October 1, Rene Peroy, University coach, opens his Salle d'Armes on Mt. Auburn Stret.
Devoted to graduates, undergraduates, businessmen, lady swordsmen, and the general public, Peroy's establishment will occupy all his time after this spring when fencing ceases to be an official sport.
As a part of the drastic reductions whereby seven Harvard athletic teams are to disappear from H. A. A. schedules, the sword will face the axe after this winter's season.
With the future in view Mr. Peroy is starting his new and unique school as a continued training for men interested in the sport either from the veterans viewpoint or from that of the beginner who is desirous of taking up the sport.
