Friday will be a big day for the Harvard Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, with the first event scheduled at 9.45 o'clock in Harvard Hall, when, in a business meeting, the new honorary members will be elected. There will be no elections of officers, as the officers chosen last year serve for two years.
Following the business meeting, the Phi Beta Kappa procession will form at 11.15 o'clock outside the Hall and march to Sanders Theatre for the literary exercises, fifteen minutes later. In these exercises, open to the public, Walter Lippmann '10 will give the oration and Edward K. Rand '94, Pope Professor of Latin, will give the poem.
The annual dinner, closed to the press and public, will be held in Adams House at 1 o'clock.
