GIBB'S HOMER WINS BASEBALL GAME IN 13TH FROM ELI, 4-2

Lincoln May Be Too Tired to Pitch, but Braggietti or Bilodeau Strong Subs For Position on Mound

Braman Gibb's home run hit in the thirteenth, which took the far rightfield fence on the bound and scored Prouty, gave Harvard a 4 to 2 victory over Yale at New Haven yesterday.

Yale's reunion classes plodded out to the field through the rain, saw the weather clear off, were amazed by the stellar pitching of Eli Ted Horton only to see their hopes shattered by Gibb's winning clout.

The game was a long tough battle from the start, developing into a pitching duel between Bill Lincoln of Harvard and Horton, the former striking out six, walking three, and getting touched for ten hits, the latter striking out 11, walking two, and yielding 11 hits.

The results of this game make things look pretty hopeful for the game on Soldiers Field this afternoon. The one hitch may come if Lincoln is found to be too tired to pitch. He will be well backed up, however, by Braggiotti and Bilodeau, either of whom may take the mound.

By this victory Harvard definitely wins second place in the League.
