SIX APPOINTMENTS TO FACULTY ARE ANNOUNCED

Appointees Will Fill Posts in Fields of Chemistry, Physics, Economics, and Sanitary Engineering

Six appointments to the Faculty were announced yesterday by University Hall. Three of these men fill positions in the Chemistry department, one is in Physics, one in Economics, and the sixth in Sanitary Engineering.

The appointments are as follows:

Thomas L. Jacobs--appointed Instructor in Chemistry. B.A., Cornell College, Ia. '30. Candidate for Ph.D., Cornell University '35. Home: Ithaca, N. Y.

John H. Colvin--appointed Assistant in Chemistry. A.B., Louisiana College '28; M.S., Louisiana State College '30. Home: Pineville, La.

Ralph B. Thompson 1G--appointed Assistant in Chemistry. Ed.B., Southern Illinois State Normal University '34. Home: Carbondale, Ill.

Abram Burk 2G--appointed Assistant in Economics. A.B., Johns Hopkins '33. Home: Baltimore, Md.

Chauncey Starr--appointed Research Fellow in Physics. L.E.E., Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute '32. At present studying at Rensselser.

John S. Wiley grE.S.--appointed Assistant in Sanitary Engineering. S.B. in Civil Engineering, Purdue '34. Home: West Lafayette, Ind.
