Frank W. Jones '35 Leads Seven Men Abroad on June 29; Returning in August

A coalition tennis team of four Harvard and three Yale players will cross the Atlantic this summer to play a series of games in England. The captain of the combined teams is Frank W. Jones '35.

The group, which sails on June 29, will play a number of matches with various country club teams from their arrival on July 6 until the first week in August. During this period they will play a combined Oxford-Cambridge team at Eastbourne.

In addition to Captain Jones, the players for Harvard are Franklin P. Whitbeck '35, Germaine G. Glidden '36, and J. Burke Wilkinson '35. The Yale players are George Stevens, Edward Mansfield, and Ralph Ellis. This year Harvard was victorious over both Yale and Princeton.
