MOVING CLASS DAY EXERCISES OUT OF SANDERS FOR 1935

Breaking several more Harvard traditions, Class Day will be held on Wednesday this year instead of the customary Tuesday, and the ceremonies formerly held in Sanders Theatre will be shifted over to the Triangle formed by Winthrop House, Kirkland House, and the Squash Court Building, according to official announcement from Lehman Hall yesterday.

On Wednesday morning, June 19, the Seniors will form beneath the Lowell House tower and march from there to the Triangle, where the exercises begin at 11.30 o'clock. Dean Sperry will open with a prayer, and following him there will be presented the Class oration, ode, and poem, given by Frederick DeW. Bolman, Jr., George L. Haskins, and Ten Eyck Lansing, respectively.

Following dinner, which will be served in the Houses, the Seniors will form in the Triangle and march to the Stadium for the program beginning at 2 o'clock. Here Vincent Palmer will greet the assemblage with the Ivy Oration, followed by a stunt by the Class of 1910, the cheering for President Conant, the response by Conant, and coming to a conclusion with the usual savage confetti battle.

At 3 o'clock the parade reforms and marches to the ball field for the first of the three-game series with Yale, beginning at 3.30 o'clock.

After supper the festivities continue in the Triangle with a short concert by the Glee Club, several banjo and guitar selections, a brief violin recital by Malcolm H. Holmes, a quartet singing popular undergraduate music, an exhibition of monocycle riding, and winding up by more selections by the Glee Club with the whole crowd finally joining the Club in singing football songs.

For the final entertainment of the evening, there will be dancing in 3 of the Houses, lasting from 9.30 to 1 o'clock. The orchestras of Jack Marshard, Kent Bartlett, and Hoctor will provide the music at Lowell, Winthrop, and Eliot, respectively.
