(It is reported that many alumni are afraid to send their sons to Yale because of the spread of Communism here.)

Son, you may go if you choose to Harvard;

May follow Columbia's trail,

Be a Princeton grad; but your dear old Dad

Will never send you to Yale.

He will never send you to Yale, my boy,

To the Communistic sharks,

Where they dance to the tune of Heywood Broun

And live by the light of Marx;

Where Stalin is lord of the universe,

Where Moscow stands as the hub,

And Strachey enthralls the radicals

Of the Social Problems Club;

Where students shy at the thought of war

And plan for peace till it wearies;

Where they laugh with glee at F. F. and B.

And follow new-fangled theories.

So it's off you can run to Harvard, Son,

Or out on the Princeton trail;

Wherever you choose--except to the Blues,

Except to the home of the Daily News--

Except to the source of such radical views

As poison the air at Yale! B. & C.   Yale Daily News.
