Townsend Wins Sophomore Crew Manager Competitions

As a result of competitions which have been going on all spring, six crew managers were elected last night.

In the Sophomore Crew Manager competition, Benjamin R. Townsend, of Paoli, Penn., was elected second assistant manager, Thomas J. Darcey, Jr., of Belmont, second associate manager, and C. Vaughn Ferguson, Jr., of Schenectady, N. Y., interhouse crew manager.

In the Freshman Managerial Competition, Gilbert E. Jones, of Morristown, N. J., was made Freshman crew manager, and William Q. Wales, Jr., of West Newton, associate Freshman crew manager.

The first manager of the crew next year will be Paul C. Henshaw '36 who will succeed David H. Murray '35 manager this season.
