Four new appointments to the Faculty of the University were announced yesterday, two of them for the same course. For the first half of 1935-36, Charles Cestre has been appointed as Exchange Professor from France. For the same period, Kenneth Thimann has been appointed as a lecturer on Botany.

The two appointments to the same course are those of Captain Herbert Baisley and Lieutenant Benjamin Talley as lecturers in Geography 36b, the course in Aerial Photography.

Professor Cestre at present is teaching American Literature and Civilization at the Faculte des Lettres in Paris. Mr. Thimann is now an instructor in Bacteriology at the Galifornia Institute of Technology. Lieutenant Talley was one of the lecturers in Geography 36b this year.
