TRACK RECORD IN JEOPARDY AS STILLMAN CLAIMS GREEN

The jinx is after Harvard's track team just as the Dartmouth meet looms on the horizon, for Dr. Thorndike has just clapped Milt Green into Stillman to have some cinder burns attended to, and unless the injuries show considerable improvement during the week, the hurdles and broad jump star will not be able to compete Saturday.

The trouble began last Saturday when Green stumbled over a stick in the 200 meter event, netting himself a fifth place and several severe cinder burns on his hands and legs. A slight infection set in which became both painful and dangerous, and yesterday it was considered advisable to send him to Stillman.

"The whole affair is in Dr. Thorndike's hands, and he will decide whether Green is able to run," said Coach Eddie Farrell in commenting on the incident. "It will be a very close meet if we run it without him."
