HARVARD FACES TUFTS NINE THIS AFTERNOON

One of the closest pitcher's battles of the year is expected this afternoon when the Harvard baseball team encounters the Tufts nine on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock.

Bill Lincoln, pitching ace of the Crimson team, and Captain Roy Woodworth, who beat Harvard twice last year, 2-1, and 9-4, will be the opposing slabsters, and are counted on for airtight exhibitions of twirling.

On the basis of records, Harvard, which is in second place in the Intercollegiate League, has the edge over the Jumbos, who have won both their games, beating Vermont 17-8, and Northeastern 7-5, but Coach Ken Nash, the wily Tufts mentor, invariably brings teams that must be reckoned with.

This is the only Harvard game this week, as the Mitchellmen travel to Ithaca to face Cornell in a League game on Saturday.
