Varsity Baseball Game With B.U. Called Because of Rain

Jayvees Stopped After Having Third Inning Lead

Because of unfavorable weather conditions, the second attempt of the Varsity nine to play a scheduled game with Boston University met with failure yesterday afternoon when the contest at Weston was called off on account of rain. The first game was cancelled two weeks ago for similar reasons.

At the same time the Jayvee nine, apparently on the way to its first win in four starts, was rained out in the third inning while leading Bridgewater State Teachers College 4-0. Three of the runs were tallied when Malcolm McTernen scored a homer with two on base.
