Clashing on the subject "Resolved, That the teaching of military science in our colleges should be discontinued," a Freshman team consisting of Robert T. Benjamin, David E. Feller, and William W. Hancock will uphold the affirmative against Princeton in the Harvard-Yale Princeton triangular debate next Friday, it was announced yesterday as the result of recent trials held by the Union Society.
A second team consisting of Jay W. Kaufmann, Abraham J. Lehman, and John A. Sullivan, Jr. will journey to Yale on the same day to defend the negative against the Blue orators, the announcement also said.
The home debate will be held in the Upper Common Room of the Union at 7.30 o'clock. A Coolidge Prize of $25 will be awarded to the outstanding speaker on each of the Harvard teams.
