Allen Names John Gardiner Chairman of 1938 Jubilee

Date Announced Monday, Expected for May 24--Committee Chosen

With the appointment of John Hays Gardiner '38, of Gardiner, Maine, as Chairman of the Freshman Jubilee Committee, by Charles R. Allen '38, President of the Class, plans have been started for the outstanding event of the Freshman year.

The date of the Jubilee will be announced Monday. If traditional custom is followed, it will be on he Friday before final Examinations start, or May 24. The dance, as usual, will be held in the Main Dining Room of the Union.

Also on the committee are: Henry R. Ames, Peter T. Brooks, Thomas B. Campion Robert, C. Downes, Francis Keppel, John P. Lee, George vonL. Meyer, III, Edward H. Porter, George F. Roberts, John A. Roosevelt, Donald C. Sleeper, Albert Stickney, Jr., and Robert Sullivan.
