Mountaineers Climb Quarries

Since this part of Massachusetts hasn't any mountains suitable for aspiring Alpine climbers in need of a little closed season workout, the Mountaineering Club yesterday resorted to climbing down instead of up. About ten members, equipped with all the paraphernalia necessary for slab climbing, went down to the Quincy granite quarries to shake off the boredom of inactivity and receive instruction from Edward C. Streeter '36 and Dana B. Durand '25.
