8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports

May 3, 4 Chosen as Dates for Dramatic Club Production

Final Selection of Cast Will Be Made By Director Miles This Week

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With the arrival from New York of Carlton Miles, chosen by the Harvard Dramatic Club to direct the coming offering "A Comedy of Good and Evil," and the announcement of its production on May 3 and 4 at Brattle Hall, the Dramatic Club has now turned to final selection of the cast. Because of the difficulties presented by some of the roles, casting must be done with particular care, but the actors will probably begin rehearsal Wednesday.

Mr. Miles is most prominent as a critic and playwright, although he has had considerable experience as a director. He collaborated with John Colton, author of "Rain," and "Shanghai Gesture," in writing the play "9 Pine St.," and his other plays include 'Portrait of Gilbert" and "The Granite Lady."

Mr. Miles has written on the theater for the London Daily Telegraph and is New York critic of the Minneapolis Star. He considers "A Comedy of Good and Evil" one of the most interesting plays he has read in the last two years.
