Brooks to Lecture in Union on 'Why the Weather' Tuesday

Director of Blue Hills Observatory Wrote Book on Same Subject

Dr. C. F. Brooks, director of the Blue-hills Observatory, will deliver an illustrated lecture on "Why the Weather," subject of a recent book of his, next Tuesday evening at 7.15 o'clock, following a dinner of the Science Club in the Upper Common Room of the Union.

It is expected that Dr. Brooks will discuss the Mt. Washington winter observatory station, where the highest wind velocity known was recently recorded.

Several meteorological students of the Sophomore Class will be present to meet any Freshmen who may have an interest in this subject.
